                                                      Article 1
                                              Name and purpose
  The name of the organization shall be Southern Baptist Biker Association.

  The Southern Baptist Biker Association is organized exclusively for religious purposes and to make contribution to organizations, foundations, institutions, projects or individuals that qualify as non-profit or have unmet needs.
                                                   
  We also are a Southern Baptist organization to build biker ministries and biker church all over the United States and working for unity with other biker ministries                                                
                                                  
                                                    Article 2
                                                    
                                      Statement of Faith

The Holy Bible is the inspired Word of God and is the basis for any statement of faith. The Baptist Biker Association subscribes to the doctrinal statement of the “Baptist Faith and Message” As adopted by the Southern Baptist Convention in 1963. We band ourselves together as a body of believers in Jesus Christ personally committed to sharing his gospel of salvation to lost bikers and mankind.


                                            Article 3
                                        Membership
Membership shall consist of people and church who meet the following criteria:
a.Must be a faithful church member. Attend a Southern Baptist Church or hold to the same beliefs and this goes same for the Churches who are members of this association.
b.Give no appearance of evil. Represent Jesus Christ at all times.
c.Have an attitude of servitude. Put other people’s needs before your own. Be willing to do for others.

The southern Baptist Biker Association main guideline is the Bible. The commands and laws that Christ has written for us to live by in his word will be what this association uses as their bylaws. A true, sold out Christian will be lead by the Holy Spirit. We do not believe in placing people under so many regulations and rules because when this happens they will be in bondage and the Southern Baptist Biker Association will be a association that is lead by and free to flow with the Holy Spirit.

If a member or church representing the Southern Baptist Biker Association is acting and/or living in any way that is not in accordance with the Bible, then the officers will meet with that member or church and try to resolve the situation. If it is not resolved, then the member or church will be asked to leave the association. At this time you

will be asked to return your patches to the Association the patches are not yours they belong to the Association                                      

All Churches under this Association will have the right to name their biker ministry but it will still be a part of this association. They will have the right to use our logo and put the name of their ministry on our tri-fold pamphlets. They may not at any time make support products because all support products will be bought from the main Association

Members will be allowed to vote on all issues, unless emergency situations arise. The Board of Directors reserves the right to make emergency decisions as they arise. They will contact each other, if possible, and discuss the situation and come to a decision and handle the situation.

Members and Churches do not pay dues. The Southern Baptist Biker Association will not collect dues. The Association will be funded through free will offerings and by support products such as: t-shirts and etc.

Members will get membership cards and have membership # on it                                          
                                              
                                              Article 4
                                  Meetings of Members

The Southern Baptist Biker Association will have monthly meetings. These meetings will be held on the___________of the month, unless an event is scheduled on this day, then the meeting will be moved to the following ___________and everyone will be notified at the previous meeting. The meeting place will also be announced at each meeting. Each individual church can make a meeting day for their own members but everyone must attend the main meeting, some exceptions will be made due to being out of state, being sick, etc.
The Southern Baptist Biker Association Board of Directors feels that it is necessary to meet on a monthly basis to discuss issues that may arise during the month and to discuss the next months calendar of events. The meeting will also be a time where members can invite visitors, and all can fellowship and encourage one another in the Lord. New business, new ideas and ways that the Southern Baptist Biker Association, can help communities and people in need will be discussed and voted on at these meetings.

                                            Article 5
                                 Board of Directors

The Board of Directors of the Southern Baptist Biker Association is responsible for overall policy and direction of the members. The Board shall have 3 members in its conception and will grow with the membership. The expansion of the Board of Directors is as follows; for membership up to 75 there shall be 3 Board members, at the time membership reaches 150, 2 members shall be added to the Board. There will

be 2 members added to the Board when the total membership of the Southern Baptist Biker Association reaches 225. There shall be no more than 7 members of the Board of Directors serving.
The Board of Directors will be elected to a 3 year term. A special election for the purpose of electing a member of this Board may be held after all members have been notified by mail and a nominating process has been completed.

                                                      Article 6
                                               Officers

There shall be 6 Officers for the Southern Baptist Biker Association. There will be officers of the President, Vice-President, State Coordinator, State Evangelist, Secretary and Treasure. Their duties are as follows:

a.President
The President shall preside over all meetings. The President shall be a member in good standing and will be elected to a term of 3 years and there will be one over the association and one over the state association and one over each chapter.

b.Vice-President
The Vice-President shall be responsible for holding order in meetings and shall take the place of the President as the overseer of the membership meeting if the President is unable to attend. The Vice-President will be elected to a term of 3 years. There will be one over the association and one over the state association and one over each chapter.

c.State Coordinator
The State Coordinator shall be responsible for State wide events and to oversee their states chapters and if the chapters in the state have a problem he can help resolve it before it comes to the main association The State Coordinator will be elected to a 3 year term. Each state that has a church or ministry under this association will have one.

d. State Evangelist
The State Evangelist will be an ordained Southern Baptist evangelist licensed in the state you are in. He can speak at events in your state as well. The State Evangelist will be elected of a 2 year term and each state that has a church or ministry under this association will have one. The State Evangelist can accept a love offering for his service.

e. Secretary
This person shall be responsible for keeping records of Board actions including overseeing the talking of minutes at all meetings, sending out announcements, distributing minutes and agenda to Board members and assuring those corporate records are maintained. The Secretary will be elected to a term of 3 years. And there will be one over the association and one over the state association and one over each chapter.


f.Treasurer


This person shall assist in preparation of the budget, make financial information available to Board members and the public, and shall be responsible for making deposits and maintaining financial records. The financial records of the organization are public information and shall be made available to the membership, Board members and the public. The Treasure will be elected to a term of 2 years. And there will be one over the association and one over the state association and one over each chapter.

At the time of the first meeting of the Southern Baptist Biker Association the Officers will be elected to the following terms: President 3 years: Vice-President 1year: State Coordinator 2 years: State Evangelist 2 years: Secretary 2 years : Treasure 2 years

The Board may delegate responsibilities to members, as it seems necessary.


                                      Article 7
                                   Dissolution

Upon the dissolution of the organization ,the Board of Directors shall, after paying or making provision for the payment of all of the liabilities of the organization, dispose of all the assets of the organization exclusively for the purpose of the organization in such manner, or to such organization or organization organized and operated exclusively for charitable, educational, religious, or scientific purposes as shall at the time qualify as an exempt organization(s) under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 (or corresponding provision of any future United States Internal Revenue Law), as the Board of  Directors shall determine. Any such assets not so disposed of shall be disposed of by the Court of Common Pleas of the county in which the principal office of the corporation or organization is then located, exclusively for such purposes as said Court shall determine, which are organized and operated exclusively for such purposes.


                    Article 8
                Amendment
These bylaws may be amending when necessary. Proposed amendments must be submitted to the Secretary to be sent out with regular Board announcement. The amendment will be adopted by an affirmative 2/3 majority vote of the votes represented at a _________ held meeting of members.
